[ So, with their new upgrade, he should be allowed to lie like this, without question, right?

So that's what he does, but Archer is being weird about something again. ]

Don't just lie there like a log. [ Going from bold to suddenly very shy in span of few hours. ] You've still got arms, don't you?

[It's a relief and a very awkward moment once Archer realizes how much he's been waiting for this confirmation.]

Good to know it wasn't just alcohol talking. [he murmurs, embracing Caster.]

[ That's when the understanding hits him. Archer was afraid Caster said all those things while being drunk and was going to forget it the moment he wakes up- quite understandable worry, really.

He... doesn't know what to say, too early for a quip or jab, so he just finds a way to lie more comfortably ]

[It's an answer, in a way, that Caster just wriggles to make himself comfy. Archer has to smirk, because that's cute. There's an odd mix of amusement and some warmth that he feels and shares.

Oh well, he can rest a bit longer.]

[ Ah, this again. The warm, mushy feelings being shared. Ew. Ok, no not really ew, that's a joke- but Caster is sure he might never get fully used to the whole "feeling what his shinki does--- sometimes!!" ]

You really was worried I forgot. If I was more awake- [ and caught onto it earlier ] -I'd probably pretend exactly that.

[ Because it would be funny and because he is awful ]

You're supposed to be asleep. [Archer reminds, not hiding his amusement. Of course Caster has to ruin a perfectly nice moment ...but so does he. Such snark is as natural as breathing. There's nothing cute or romantic here.]

Yeah, yeah- [ he tries to move away from that tapping, argh, so he puts his face down ] Goodnight.

[It's a perfect moment to tangle fingers into blue hair, so Archer does that. So warm and peaceful... hn, he could get used to falling asleep like this.]
